Description :
More than 30000 people have been forced to flee from their homes in northern Liberia since new fighting broke out between government troops and armed rebels. Since April this year, around half the population of the Lofa region, bordering southern Guinea, have fled to safer ground in the south, taking refuge in camps or with local families. 41 year old Korte abandoned her home in Salayea, Lofa, in June when rebel fighting came close to her village. In the panic of escape, she got separated from her family. At a camp set up by the ICRC in Gbanga region, she hopes to find news of her sister, Suah, her brother and her two children.
