Au dos: " K 34173.Sir Leslie Glass, British high Commissionner, has visited Apapa to see the first of 14 air houses (inflatable storage units) that have been bought by the ICRC for the storage of relief supplies in Lagos. It was flown from the manufacturers, the Gourock Ropework Co. Ltd., of Port Glasgow, Scotland, and itserection was supervised by Mr. R. Lawrie of the company, who also flew out for the purpose.
125 ft. long 60ft. wide and 40 ft. high, the warehouse provides 125'000 cubic ft. of storage space. It has no internal or external struts of any kind ans is kept erect entirely by air. Lorries can drive in and out.
