Description :
On 26-27 November, 2012, the ICRC in Dhaka carried out a joint assessment program with the IFRC Dhaka, Turkish Red Crescent and Bangladesh Red Crescent Society in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. The region is inhabited by about 200'000 Rohingyas living under difficult circumstances, mostly in host communities, but also in official as well as in makeshift refugee camps.
The assessment aimed at exploring and finding common grounds for a joint approach in favour of both host (Bengali) and Rohingyas communities.
