Description :
The Women's Guidance Centre of Obrajes is located at 4.000 meters above sea level, in La Paz. 380 women and 140 children live there permanently. On May 29, the ICRC delivered 8 laundries for daily use to the centre in order to improve sanitation conditions. By this action, the ICRC tries to relieve the situation of these women who did not have an appropriate place to wash their clothes in suitable conditions because of the lack of a drain system. The lack of sanitation and space affected women's lives since they were always discussing in order to do the laundry in these conditions; it was even harder because of the climate of La Paz area.
