Pris dans un échange de tirs entre les forces de maintien de la paix des Nations Unies et des gangs armés en avril 2005, Brice Osmer a été touché trois fois et a perdu un bras. Il travaille toujours, vendant des cartes pour téléphones portables et des sachets d'eau dans les rues de Port-au-Prince.
" Les bons jours, dit-il, je peux gagner un dollar. Mais c'est grâce à ma femme, qui vend de la nourriture du matin au soir, que mes enfants ne meurent pas de faim. "
Trapped in a shoot-out between UN peacekeepers and armed gangs in April 2005, Brice Osmer was shot three times and lost an arm. He still works, selling mobile phone vouchers and bags of water on the streets of Port-au-Prince.
"On a good day," he says, "I earn a dollar. But it is thanks to my wife who sells food from dawn to dusk that my children don't starve."
