Description : Source: ICRC website, 20.09. 2010. Occupied Golan: on 16 September 2010, about 700 Druze pilgrims - including more than 200 women - were allowed to cross from the occupied Golan into Syria proper. This is an annual event during which Syrians from occupied Golan are exceptionally allowed to pass through the Kuneitra crossing point. All of them will have to return home within three days, on 19 September.

The ICRC's priority in the occupied Golan is to re-establish and maintain links between Syrians and members of their families who are separated by the demarcation line and unable to maintain contact due to the sealed separation zone.
