Description :
The ICRC president Jacob Kellenberger visited the shrine to show appreciaition for their support for the "Empress Shoken and the Red Cross Exhibition" conducted at a hall in the shrine. The exhibition was held by the Japanes Red Cross Society and the ICRC with support from the shrine to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Shoken Fund, which was created with a donation by Empress Shoken (Empress of the Meiji Emperor).
