A plenary meeting of the XXVIth Session of the Board of Governors of the League of Red Cross Societies, held in Prague, 25th September - 7th October, 1961, with 200 delegates from national Red Cross, Red Crescent, and Red Lion and Sun Societies of 62 countries participating.
Mr John A. MacAulay, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the League, presides the Meeting. Seated on either side of the Chairman are Baron van Zeeland, Treasurer General, Mr Henrik Beer, Secretary General, and Mr Henry W. Dunning, immediate past Secretary General.
