Description :
Au dos: Contribution of powdered milk for Palestine refugees being loaded aboard Egyptian vessel SS EL FOUADIE at Beirut for shipment to Port Said. From there it will be transported to the Gaza area of Southern Palestine where 200,000 refugees are located. This milk is a donation by the Swiss Red Cross for the women and children among the refugees. The United Nations are supplying essential food, clothing, tents, etc. to some 750,000 Palestine refugees. The distribution of supplies in the Gaza area is made by the American Friends Service Committee (Quakers).
