Description :
A personal visit from santa helps make five-year old Eddie Ellis'Christmas a merrier one. Eddie, the son of Sergeant and Mrs. George A. White of the U.S. Army's Wildflecken, Germany, garrison, is a patient in the Army's 10th Evacuation hospital here.
American Red Cross volunteer Gray Lady Mrs Marilyn Mann, of 533 Summit Avenue, Crookston, Minnesota, cared for Eddie at the party; and Santa, PFC Dale V. Keith of 3542 James Circle, Spring Valley, California, convinced him that being in a hospital at Christmas didn't mean that he'd miss it. Service to military personnel and their families, wherever they are stationed, is a year-round activity of the American Red Cross.
