Description :
In the villages around Gori, it is mainly elderly people who stayed behind when people fled the fighting that broke in early August. Today they feel bewildered and scared. They have no idea when they will see their loved ones again. The ICRC has been visiting villages to assess people's needs and distribute emergency food rations.

Georgia: Out in the villages life continues, but nothing is the same
Most able-bodied people having fled to safety, the elderly and infirm in isolated villages are left to fend for themselves. The ICRC is bringing them relief and helping those who have lost contact with family members restore it.
