Description : Le commerce de légumes permet à de petits agriculteurs de gagner de quoi survivre. Toutefois, avec la fin du conflit, l’augmentation de vivres arrivant en ville fait chuter les prix. Dès lors, seuls les marchands capables d’acheter de grandes quantités sont compétitifs. Ne pouvant plus vendre les légumes sur le trottoir, les individus isolés doivent louer un emplacement dans un marché, ce qui n'est pas à leur portée.
