Description : The Côte d’Ivoire is the first worldwide cocoa producer; broad beans are dried in the sun on plastic tarpaulins.
The inhabitants from the surrounding villages near the natural Mont Péko reserve receive help from the ICRC for their well’s or water pump’s rehabilitation.
Koffi Jaïrus, an ICRC employee from the water and habitat department in the Guiglo sub-delegation, organises and supervises the work in progress.
