Description :
The objective of the NRBC field trials undertaken by the ICRC was to test different types of equipment manufactured by specialised companies in order to select those items which the ICRC includes on its list of personal protective equipment which will allow staff to perform certain types of operational functions (medical assistance, dead body management and weapon contamination management) in environments potentially contaminated with nuclear, radiological, biological and chemical (NRBC) agents.
