Henry Dunant Medal recipients : Mr Cornelio Sommaruga of Switzerland whose award was accepted in his absence by Princess Margaret of the Netherlands, Dr. Muctarr Amadu Sheriff Jalloh of Sierra Leone, Mrs Zoy Katevas de Sclabos of Chile, Mr Pär Stenbäck of Finland and DSr. Fouad Hamza of Syria.
The Henry Dunant award is given out every two years for outstanding service and dedication in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
