A few weeks ago Gao regional hospital was pillaged following the fighting in the city.
It is now able to operate again following the supply by the ICRC of an important stock of medicines and medical equipment.
This assistance will help to treat 500 sick people and around 100 wounded.
Gao regional hospital is main health center in the region.
