Description :
Over the past weeks, many families in Shabwa and Abyan governorates have been displaced due to the ongoing armed conflict. ICRC teams with the help of the Yemen Red Cross Society branches covering the area visit the most affected districts to assess the needs of the population, and provide them with food rations and essential items to sustain them for the next month. The ICRC also provides hospitals in Shabwa with medical assistance to help them cope with possible emergencies.
