Description :
The man who receives the tricycle was a teacher before being seriously wounded by shooting more than three years ago. Since his wounds were serious, his two legs had to be amputated in 2012. It was however only in 2014 that he was admitted at the Shirika la Umoja centre (Goma), where the ICRC works within the framework of a physical rehabilitation programme. He received a double prosthesis and crutches the 29th December 2014. Three months later, when he was back home in Pinga since a month and a half, an ICRC team brings him a tricycle to facilitate his moving.
