Description :
The inhabitants from certain districts of Duékoué city cannot afford to have running water brought to their home. Collective water points are built by the ICRC.
The inhabitants that come and get water during certain times pay a taxation for each water bucket to the person in charge of the place that opens and closes the tap. Money gathered is used to pay the water bill to the SODECI, a private society that provides water, and for the site’s maintenance.
