Peter Maurer, President of the ICRC, recently completed a 3-day visit to Bangkok where he delivered the biennial 7th Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Lecture on "Contemporary Challenges to Humanitarian Action".
In this interview, Maurer discusses the increasingly complex humanitarian landscape, and highlights the importance of regional cooperation in delivering a more meaningful response to humanitarian crises, in particular to the challenge of migration in Asia.”
