Swiss Foreign Minister, Mr. Didier Burkhalter, pays a visit to the ICRC tracing office in Azraq camp on the first day of his two-day official visit to Jordan. The minister received an update on ICRC’s work to facilitate restoring family links for Syrian refugees residing in camps in Jordan. So far, the ICRC has helped more than 100’000 Syrian refugees to re-establish and maintain family links with family members in Jordan, Syria and other countries, by providing free-of-charge phone calls.
