Members of Thailand’s wheelchair basketball team were not born with their disability. Their disabilities are caused by accidents. Therefore, it is a big challenge for them to move on.
The team performed hard even during their training session because they would like to join Paralympic Games in the near future.
Members of Thailand’s wheelchair basketball team felt excited to participate in the first international wheelchair basketball against India team, even if it would be only an exhibition match. They were glad to know that wheelchair basketball federation of India (WBFI) and the ICRC pay attention to disabled people and tried to integrate them back to society through sports.
