Description :
Due to increase of the population, influx of displaced persons and the old age of the sewers, the system had been choked at different points and sever water spilled over through manhole to the streets. This issue led to environmental pollution, and increase of diseases in the area, especially for children. The ICRC, in cooperation with the sewage board, installed and rehabilitated the sewage system in Al-Hareth Ebn Obad Street and Hamida Bent Al Noaman Street in south east Homs city. In total 334 families benefiting from this project, including 35 displaced families.
