Hospitals in Gaza, over-stretched in normal times, mobilized all available resources to respond to the escalation of violence in the last weeks. The health services have been weakened by severe restrictions on movement of people and goods, shortage of drugs and medical supplies, chronic fuel and energy crisis, as well as the worsening economic situation. The ICRC provides material and technical support to the hospitals in Gaza in their emergency response.
