Description :
The woman explains: “I have been sick for so long, it’s my stomach that’s troubling me. I go to the clinic if I have money, but if I don’t, I just stay at home. All of my 3 children have moved out and I’m depending on the aid given to me to survive”
Since the violence, people are terrified of going far outside from their village in search of jobs. Fishermen can only wander around nearby their village to catch fishes.
Ar Kar Taung is a remote village only reachable by boat, 2 hours speed boat drive from Sittwe Town.
