Description :
The exhibition is portraying the pain of families after one of their loved ones disappear suddenly. More than 40 portraits of the show tell a little about the history, challenges and anguish of 12 families suffering from the disappearance of a relative. The photographs were taken by the Brazilian photojournalist Marizilda Cruppe, who has an extensive experience in social, human rights and environment.
The ICRC strives to identify and understand the needs of the families of missing persons and to make recommendations to the relevant authorities to enable them to respond to such needs.
