Description :
"Moving to the camp was not an easy choice, but it was our only one", says their mother. They lost everything before coming to the camp and have nothing now. "My husband couldn't perceive what happened to us, he had a brain stroke", she adds. Her two older daughters have found jobs in the camp and the boys are helping with getting water and ice at the market, to cope with the weather. Her little girl helps her to take care of the youngest one. "Each one of us is playing a role to make living in a tent feel a bit like living at home".
The situation in the camp is overwhelming and dire. Since December 2018, more than 63,000 people arrived in the camp.
Today, about 74,000 people live here. Around 90% of those are women and children. An estimated two-thirds are children.
