Description :
President Tshisekedi expressed appreciation to the work of ICRC. He raised his concerns regarding the integration and return of internally displaced persons. Both Peter Maurer and him spoke about detention and what can be done to improve situation of the detainees.
They also discussed on justice reforms and security sector reforms including the issue of demobilisation, disarmament and reintegration of combattants. The role and good contribution of the Red Cross Society of the Democratic Republic of the Congo was also discussed acknowledging the work being done on Ebola.
