Description :
ICRC carries medical evacuations, together with surgical interventions for weapon-wounded patients, for decades now. Initially, the evacuation was from South Sudan to the ICRC hospital in Lopideng, northern Kenya. Since independence, however, evacuation has been carried out to various locations in South Sudan.
