Description :
This patient came to the ambulatory facility to get free medications for her husband who can not go out because of the heatwave as he suffers from high blood pressure and other concequences of COVID-19. The family can not afford such treatment themselves due to their small income. Before the hostilities they bred pigs. But their farm was shelled twice at the very beginning of the conflict, which caused destructions and the death of the animals. Their house was also seriously damaged. In addition to this, the patient's husband lost his job in 2014 when the contact line divided the area. The conflict not only left them with unsufficient income, but also separated the couple from their their kids and grandkids. "We used to gather together every weekend before all this started. And now we haven't seen them for years. We talk to cats and dogs as, some days, there is no one else to share with", says the patient.
