In the ICRC-supported health centres of Radar, Gubadhley, Afgoi, Farjano, Beletweyne and Howlwadaag, medical practicioners use ALMANACH (Algorithms for the Management of Acute Childhood illnesses), an electronic application which assists them in diagnosing young patients and prescribing the most effective treatment. The application can also refer the child to another health structure if the treatment he/she needs is not available in the facility.
