Description :
In March 2021, the only hospital in São Leopoldo, a town located in Porto Alegre area, had an occupancy rate of 122% in its intensive care unit. The hospital was thus forced to refuse new patients. Moreover, the pace of the vaccination campaign is slow because of the limited number of vaccine doses available.
