Stanytsia Luhanska, crossing point. This crossing point, located on the contact line, is the only one in eastern Ukraine which operates on a daily basis. In winter, extreme temperatures combined with long waiting hours expose people who need to cross the contact line to frostbites. With the support of the ICRC, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) runs a Red Cross point where people can rest, have hot drinks and warm themselves while waiting and queuing.
