Description : The Dnipro railway station is a regional hub for displaced people from all over Ukraine.

People fleeing the hostilities arrive in Dnipro with the aim of settling in the city or moving further away. Long queues of people have become a common occurrence. More than 2,000 people wait for a train and spend the night at the station every day, and the figures can rise to 6,000-8,000 people on busy days.

Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society are providing displaced people with food and necessary hygiene items. The ICRC sub-delegation in Dnipro also donated disposable plates and cups, croissants, energy bars, water, tea, sugar, soap, toilet paper, baby and adult nappies, etc. and delivered them to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society at the railway station.

In the station shopping centre, sleeping places have been arranged for women, children and people with a disability. Not only can displaced people spend the night there, but also have snacks and hot meals.
