Description : In Pong Mon village, over 50% of community living there fled violence from other parts of Northern Shan State. They’ve faced many challenges, from the lack of access to drinking water to no proper latrines.

After consulting with families living there, ICRC teams provide items that are most urgently needed like water filters, hygiene items, households solar sets, but also participate to the construction of latrine, and provide handwashing awareness sessions.

Across the country, the ICRC is striving to help meet the needs of the most vulnerable communities – aiming to ensure a healthy living environment for families affected by the armed conflict.
