Description :
In early 2023, provision of prosthetic and orthotic devices for persons with disabilities was started at Syrian Arab Red Crescent and ICRC Al Hol hospital. Abu Adam, a 46-year-old resident of the Al Hol camp, was one of the first ones to be fitted with a custom-made below-knee prosthesis on the amputated side, as well as a supportive orthosis on the right side. Physical rehabilitation services are increasingly sought for at the hospital.
