Description :
Osama was wounded by shrapnel to the spinal cord, rendering him a quadriplegic. His left leg also had to be amputated above the knee.
Thanks to a joint ICRC/Palestinian Red Crescent Society program, Osama received intensive care as part of a comprehensive treatment plan that included physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
Before his injury, Osama was passionate about soccer and showed remarkable talent for the sport. However, his injury prevented him from pursuing his passion. Despite this, he remains hopeful of one day playing soccer again.
