Description :
Abdullah was amputated after being wounded by shrapnel while visiting his sister. As his house is far from the road, he has to cross a mountainous area to get to his home. He has lost his foot and now lives with his family in a small room.
Although Abdullah receives physical rehabilitation and prostheses at the ICRC-supported centre in Taiz, he cannot leave the house unless a family member helps him, and so misses school for long periods, sometimes up to several weeks.
