Mohammed is now 7 years old. He is in second grade. He loves playing football and is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he hopes to meet one day. He is a very intelligent boy who loves maths. Although his family is poor, they look after his education and pay for his school fees and transport. He is a very lively child. His father says that when he was born, some doctors and family members weren't sure he would live. They operated on him several times to repair his cleft lip and palate. He was fitted with a prosthesis from China from the age of one.
