At the request of families from Brigade 66, ICRC staff held a meeting at the delegation’s central office to explain the organization’s mandate, working methods, and role in relation to missing persons. The team provided information about the tracing process and available mechanisms, reviewed individual cases, and shared updates where relevant. Families had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their specific situations. The team also outlined the next steps and clarified the responsibilities of the ICRC and other relevant actors involved in the search for missing family members. This meeting aims to bring families one step closer to an answer about their missing relatives.
