Description :
The ICRC helps families find out what happened to relatives who went missing and supports them while they wait for answers. Staff from the PFL (Protection of Family Links) and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) teams join the head of sub-delegation, Ignacio Casares Garcia, to listen to concerns and guide relatives through the search process. Representatives of state authorities who handle tracing cases explain official procedures, outline available support and answer questions directly. Families clarify individual queries and discuss the challenges of seeking information about their missing relatives. Not knowing whether a relative is alive or dead can leave families in limbo for years.
