Affrété par le CICR, le gros-porteur, d'une capacité de 40 tonnes, transportait notamment une assistance médicale d'urgence, du matériel sanitaire et un camion-citerne pouvant contenir 15 000 litres d'eau potable à distribuer dans la capitale et les environs immédiats. Entre Juin et Aout 2003, le CICR a affrêté 10 avions cargo pour ces opérations au Libéria.
Chartered by the ICRC, this large transport aircarft (capacity 40 MT) transported medical equipment and supplies, as well as a water truck to distribute 15'000 lt at a time to people sleeping rough in the war torn capital. In 2003 the ICRC chartered 10 cargo planes for its Liberia operations.
