Description :
In 1984, 5 delegates assisted by 26 local employees carried out the activities of the Central Tracing Agency in Lebanon in offices based in Beirut, Tyre, Saida, Baalbeck and Tripoli. They registered the 1,186 Insar prisoners and the 25 prisoners visited in the hands of various parties to the Lebanese conflict. The Central Tracing Agency also exchanged 1,114,196 family messages and opened 121 new files. The Agency also drew up 5,117 detention certificates, including 4,171 for people arrested by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.
