The Regional meeting of National Committees on international humanitarian law took place in the Chilean Foreign Affairs Ministry on November 27 - 28, 2008. The people who attended came from the Committees of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile.
The ICRC Regional Delegation for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay organized the meeting.
The participants discussed how to adopt and incorporate IHL into national law.
