Description :
The community was forced to move from their village Rio Iró to the City of Quibdó from April through October 2013 due to constants clashes of armed group in their territory. Through its program of Economic Security to assist displaced communities, the ICRC equipped the families and the community of Obapo with water collection systems and sanitation facilities, blankets and cooking ware. The ICRC also conducted health risk programs.
