Description : A water purification and distribution unit provides 75,000 litres of water per day to more than 10,000 people (refugees and Liberian residents) through two distribution ramps with 20 taps. One ICRC and one UNHCR truck supply water to the purification plant, usually nine times a day. (Water is taken from the Cesto river and purified.) The water distribution began on 7 March 2011.
