Description : A footbridge spanning the Kabul river was destroyed by the floodwaters that surged through Pir Sabaq at the end of July. For several days the village was completely inaccessible. People are now using boats to cross the still-swollen Kabul river, as they used to do many years ago before the footbridge was installed. Villagers say that at the height of the floods, the trees on the horizon were submerged.
