Description :
ICRC staff regularly meet with military units, all over Yemen to give presentations to officers and men on the work of the ICRC and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). ICRC publications giving information about ICRC activities, the Red Cross and Red Crescent emblems, international and customary law and many other relevant themes are distributed at each session. The ICRC also speaks with non-State arms carriers and all other weapon bearers to promote respect for IHL and the protection of the civilian population in thimes of conflit and violence.
