Caption : Hodeidah, Red Sea coast. This 55 years old man tells that he is just an example of what other fishermen in Hodeidah are going through today: fear of war, old equipment, high prices and inability to provide for their families.

Description : He has one girl, after marrying three times. He has lived in Hodeidah for over 10 years, but never settled on the beach. He tells us that due to the current situation, he now lives alone in a makeshift hut. He wishes that the world would know about the situation of Hodeidah’s fishermen and their hardship. “This shirt I am wearing, I picked it up from the sea. Everything that I am wearing were leftovers on the shore. I won’t lie and tell you that I bought them myself”, he says.
