“I return to Bashiqa on 6 August 2017, exactly three years after I was forced to flee. I was so happy to see my wedding dress shop was still here. I reopened the shop one month after my return. I sell three to four dresses every week. My dresses are made in Turkey and Syria and then shipped to Baghdad from where I buy them. I hope the future will be better. When I see people getting married and celebrating, I feel happy too. It gives me hope.” says the man.
